Rogue SuperPower


Torture Legalized      
This post will highlight the first few days after the United States of America legalized Torture and pardoned George W. Bush for some of his War Crimes.   Sparky Gonzales and his band of cohorts are also handed a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card.   And so the chronicles of the new Rogue SuperPower begins.   George W. Bush's Amerika, Empire Builders as the world has never seen.

Where was Russ Fiengold when we needed a filibuster on one of the most important pieces of legislation considered by the 109th Congress of the United States.   I am sure there are going to be a lot of people asking some critical questions in the days to come.   - ƒç

Senate OKs detainee interrogation bill



WASHINGTON - The Senate on Thursday endorsed
President Bush's plans to prosecute and interrogate terror suspects, all but sealing congressional approval for legislation that Republicans intend to use on the campaign trail to assert their toughness on terrorism.



The 65-34 vote means the bill could reach the president's desk by week's end. The House passed nearly identical legislation on Wednesday and was expected to approve the Senate bill on Friday, sending it on to the White House.
