Poppy Will Hvae To Clean Up Jr.'s Mess...

I had the same thought that Ms. Dowd did when I heard that Robert Gates, an old friend of Poppy Bush was gonna get the job of cleaning up all the Rumsfeld blood. If an old country boy can see the same things that a high class lady like Maureen Dowd can, then it must be fairly transparent.

Between him and Jim Baker, another of Poppy's old friends, they have a better chance than most would have of repackaging George W. Bush. I had a similar vague thought about Poppy fixin' things when the Baker appointment was announced. I had no thought about Poppy sending in all the big guns to do the dirty work. It's gonna be a powerful job of fitting all of Dubya's accomplishments on a jail cell wall...
